YouTube API Services Disclosure
Last updated September 24, 2026
Reachira uses YouTube API Services to connect your YouTube channel, publish the videos you schedule, and show you how they perform. By connecting a YouTube channel to Reachira you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can disconnect your channel in Reachira or revoke Reachira's access in your Google security settings at any time; we then delete the YouTube data we hold about your channel.
Reachira uses YouTube API Services
Reachira is an API client of YouTube API Services. Depending on how your channel was connected, calls to YouTube are made either by Reachira directly or by our publishing provider on our behalf (see the list of providers in our Privacy Policy). The same rules on this page apply either way.
YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy
- By connecting a YouTube channel to Reachira, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Google's collection and use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What YouTube data we access, store and use
| Data | What we do with it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your channel's identifier and name | Stored with your connected account | To show which channel a post goes to and keep it linked to your workspace |
| Permission to upload videos to your channel (an access token) | Encrypted before storage and never displayed | To publish the videos you schedule |
| The videos we publish for you, their identifiers, links and status | Stored with the post | To show you whether and where each video was published |
| View, like and comment counts of those videos, and your channel's subscriber count | Stored as daily snapshots | To show your performance history in Reachira |
We only use this data to provide Reachira's features to you. We do not sell YouTube data, do not use it for advertising, and do not access the videos, comments or other data of channels you have not connected.
How it is shared
YouTube data is shared only with the service providers that help us run Reachira — mainly our publishing provider, our database and our storage provider — and only so they can provide that service. It is visible to the members of the workspace the channel is connected to. We may disclose it where the law requires. The full list of providers is in our Privacy Policy.
Cookies and device storage
Reachira does not place cookies or similar technology on your device on YouTube's behalf and does not serve third-party ads. The cookies Reachira itself uses are described in our Cookie Policy.
How long we keep it, and when we refresh or delete it
- We keep YouTube data only while your channel stays connected, and we refresh it regularly while it is in use. Data that is not refreshed within thirty days is deleted.
- If you disconnect your channel in Reachira, we delete the YouTube data we hold about it within seven days.
- If you revoke access in your Google security settings, we delete that data within thirty days of the revocation.
- If you ask us to delete your YouTube data, by writing to privacy@reachira.com, we delete it as soon as possible and within seven days.
- Videos already published stay on YouTube until you remove them there.
How to revoke access
- In Reachira: open Accounts, choose the YouTube channel and disconnect it.
- In your Google account: open the Google security settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (also reachable at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions), find the app you connected through and remove its access.
Depending on how your channel was connected, the app listed in your Google account may be our publishing provider rather than Reachira itself.
